Pauline Louella Sell, 90, of Rockford passed away at 12:43 pm on February 20, 2022 at Divine Nursing Home in Rockford.

She was born on June 13, 1931, in Mercer County, the daughter of the late Asa Logan Book and Martha Louella (Raver) Book. On June 06, 1951, she married Carl Sell, who passed away on May 1, 2003.

Surviving are four sons; Roger (Lynn) Sell of Rockford, Larry (Theresa) Sell of Bluffton, Indiana, Dr. Jerry (Connie) Sell of Rockford, and Ken (Kathy) Sell of Parks, Arizona, eleven grandchildren, and thirty one great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Pauline was preceded in death by three sisters; May Thomas, Olive Leighner, and Helen Rutledge, and four brothers; John Book, Russell Book, Rea Book, and Bill Book.

Pauline was a 1949 graduate of Rockford High School, where she was the Valedictorian of her class. She worked in banking her entire career, retiring in 1996 from First Financial Bank. Pauline was a member of the New Horizons Church in Rockford.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, March 5, 2022 at New Horizons Church, 833 South Main Street, Rockford, OH.
