Kathy Schrolucke
Kathy Schrolucke, 90, of New Knoxville, died 3:58 A.M. Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at Vancrest of St. Marys Nursing Home.
She was born November 23, 1931, in Fort Recovery, Ohio, the daughter of Prosper and Lucille Stump. She married Aaron Schrolucke on May 28, 1955, at the First United Church of Christ in New Knoxville, and he preceded her in death on January 3, 2009.
She is survived by her children: Jeffrey (Stephanie) Schrolucke of Ladson, North Carolina; Penny (John) Pfenning of New Knoxville; Steven Schrolucke of New Knoxville. She is survived by her four grandchildren: Ross Schrolucke; Alexandria Schrolucke; Chris Pfenning; Katie Pfenning. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren: Ariyah Pfenning; Makena Pfenning; Cailyn Pfenning. She is survived by a brother, Gail Stump of Greenville, Ohio.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her siblings: Annabelle Mote; Jenola Miller; Evelyn Middaugh; Duetta Hollinger; Keith Stump.
She was a graduate of Fort Recovery High School. For many years she cleaned homes and was a babysitter for many children in New Knoxville. She was a member of the New Knoxville Garden Club, American Legion 444 Auxiliary and was the past president of the Auglaize County Senior Citizens, and she was a member of the First Church of New Knoxville.
Funeral rites will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, April 1, 2022, at the First Church of New Knoxville, the Reverend Joel Bucklin, officiant. Burial will follow at Pilger Ruhe Cemetery.
Friends may call from 9:00-11:00 A.M. Friday in the Heritage Room of the church, where memorial gifts may be given to the church or Grand Lake Hospice.
