Light snow will overspread the area from the northwest this morning. An increased coverage of snow showers is expected to develop this afternoon into the evening hours. Slick spots may develop on roads tonight as temperatures drop and northwest winds gust up to 30 mph. Coverage of snow showers is expected to decrease overnight before ending Monday morning. Most the area will see an accumulation of 1 to 2 inches. Locally higher amounts are possible in areas where heavier snow bands develop this afternoon into early evening.
Roadways may become slick. If traveling, be alert, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.

Jean Schroeder
Jean F. Schroeder, 97, of Ottawa died 2:07 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2022, at Mercy Health St. Rita's Medical Center.
She was born December 26, 1924, in Toledo to the late John and Virginia (Tubbs) MacPhie. On March 2, 1946, she married Richard J. Schroeder, who preceded her in death on April 12, 1994.
Jean is survived by 5 children: Ken (Lisa) Schroeder of Continental, Barb (Lee) Twining of Ottawa, Jim "Buck" Schroeder of Fort Jennings, Diane (Steve) Burkholder of Columbus Grove and Bob (Ria) Schroeder of Celina; 14 grandchildren: Jaime, Amanda, Jessica, Brent, Betsy, Ashley, Adam, Heather, Valerie, David, Joe, Sydney, Cory and Lauren Jean; 21 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law: Gail MacPhie of Georgia; 2 brothers-in-law: Father Ken Schroeder of Celina and Clyde (Joan) Schroeder of Ottawa and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by a sister: Eleanor (John) Boham; a brother: John MacPhie; and 3 sisters-in-law: Eunice (Ivan) Thrasher, Eileen Schmidt and Janice Maag; and 2 brothers-in-law: George (Ruth) Schroeder and Maurice Schroeder.
Jean was a homemaker and a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa. She was also a member of the church's Prayer Chain and a former member of its Rosary Altar Society. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much and enjoyed having them over. She was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Reds and the Ohio State University Buckeyes and was quite possibly one of the greatest Ottawa-Glandorf Titan fans around.
Jean's funeral mass will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 19, 2022, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa with Father Scott Kramer and her brother-in-law, Father Ken Schroeder officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Love Funeral Home, Ottawa where a scripture service will be held at 1:45 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Sts. Peter and Paul Endowment Fund, the Sts. Peter and Paul Educational Foundation or to the Ottawa-Glandorf Athletic Boosters.
