Robert Griesdorn
Robert H. Griesdorn, 84, of St. Marys, died 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at his residence.
He was born April 20, 1938, in Celina, Ohio, the son of Bernard and Clara (Stuckenborg) Griesdorn. He married Ruth Henning on April 25, 1959, and they celebrated 63 years of marriage together. Ruth survives in St. Marys.
He is also survived by his children: Tamara (Bruce) McEvoy of Midland, Ohio; Diane (Jack) Steen of Celina; Ron (Gina) Griesdorn of Mendon; Larry (Lesa) Griesdorn of Lima; Zachery Micheal of St. Marys. He is also survived by his 19 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; by a brother, Donald (Pat) Griesdorn of Naples, Florida; by his sisters-in-law, Ann Griesdorn of Loveland; Erma Griesdorn of Columbus; by a brother-in-law Paul (Mary) Henning of St. Marys; a sister-in-law, Betty Henning of Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his parents; by his brothers James Griesdorn and Carl "Pete" Griesdorn.
Bob was born and raised in Celina. He retired after 30 years of service at Goodyear St. Marys. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He cherished family get-togethers, and he really enjoyed watching the NASA channel.
Funeral rites will be held 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, St. Marys, Pastor Bob Sweeney, officiant. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3-7 P.M. Monday at the funeral home, where memorial gifts may be given to Grand Lake Hospice.
