* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1044 AM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 2.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen.Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, State Route 116 at State Route 197, Chattanooga and Kossuth.

* WHEN...Until 2 PM EDT this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms will move across parts of the area this morning, possibly extending into early afternoon. This may result in bands of heavier rainfall that could lead to flash flooding.

David Gause
David L. Gause, 76, of Rockford passed away Thursday, December 1, 2022 at his residence after a short battle with cancer.
He was born November 25, 1946 at the Gause family homestead to the late Lloyd and Florence (Shively) Gause. On March 24, 1978 he married Lois (Craft) Gause, who survives.
David was a 1965 graduate of Parkway High School and served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was also a 35 year member of the Masonic Lodge, where he was the Master from 1995-1998.
David enjoyed working in his shop. He also enjoyed sitting in his sunroom recliner watching as the deer would cross in the nearby field, as well as watching the passing traffic.
Including his wife, he is survived by four children, David L. (Tiffany) Gause, II., Nikole L. (fiancee Matt Tumbleson) Barnes, Tabitha S. (Greg) Bolton, and Michael A. Gause; 12 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Kim Gause.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at Ketcham Ripley Funeral Home, 111 W. First St., Rockford, OH 45882, with Pastor Tom Brunstrup officiating. Interment will follow at East Bethel Cemtery, State Route 707 Blackcreek Township, Rockford, OH.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, as well as one hour prior to the funeral service, at the funeral home.
