* IMPACTS...Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are possible. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

Barn fire

The maintenance barn at Hickory Sticks Golf Club just south of Van Wert burned Wednesday afternoon. According to an employee on scene the fire started while the day's maintenance worker was out buying a filter for some equipment. Stored in the building were all the grounds and maintenance equipment including seven mowers, greens rollers and a loader tractor. There is a video online at dailystandard.com/video.
