Sandra Arlene Elzey, 80, formerly of St. Marys and Dayton, OH died 11:05 a.m. Tuesday February 21, 2023 at Lima Memorial Health System.

She was born December 16, 1942 in Bellbrook, OH to Nathan and Mabel (Meets) Rohrback. On September 3, 1958 in Dayton, OH she married Francis Elzey, who died December 1, 1997.

She is survived by: daughter Dolly Elzey of Delphos, OH; daughter Linda Hunter of St. Marys, OH; daughter Shirley (John) Semer of Convoy, OH; daughter Sandra (George) Crowe of St. Marys, OH; 11 grandchildren: Jason Thaxton, Sandy Jane Thaxton, Samantha (Jeremiah), Amanda (Matt) Downey, Amara (Ryan O'Leary) Crowe, Tamara Crowe, Francis (Deanna) Hunter, David (Melissa) Hunter, Jr., Stephen (Taylor) Semer, Michael Semer, Alec (Jaden) Semer; several great-grandchildren; sister Geraldine Grissinger of Kettering, OH.

Preceded in death by: parents Nathan and Mabel Rohrbach; husband Francis Elzey (1997); granddaughter Crystal Thaxton-West; son-in-law David Hunter; eight brothers and sisters.

She took great pride in being a homemaker for her family. Her favorite pastimes included family get-togethers, shopping and visiting various thrift stores. She was very fond of animals, especially dogs.

Visitation 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. on Sunday February 26, 2023 at the Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West) in St. Marys.

Graveside funeral rites are scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m. on Monday February 27, 2023 at the Bellbrook Cemetery 3939 Upper Bellbrook Road in Bellbrook, OH.
