Cletus Grieshop
Cletus R. Grieshop, age 84 of Minster, Ohio, died at 4:59 AM on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at Heritage Manor Nursing Center, Minster, Ohio.
He was born on May 18, 1938 in Yorkshire, Ohio to the late Joseph & Bernadine (Borchers) Grieshop. He married Mary Ann Drees on May 7, 1960 in St. Augustine Church, Minster, Ohio. She survives in Minster.
He is also survived by children & grandchildren: Theodore & Angie Grieshop, their children, Sister James Karol (Katie) Nicholas, Mary Elizabeth & Adam McLaughlin, Sister Joseph Lucia (Monica), Collette, John & Aaron: Lynda & Dave Dues, Minster, their daughter Morgan, Sandra Mathews & fiancé George Weston, Fairfield, CA, Debra Grieshop, Minster, Dennis & Suzi Grieshop, Tipp City, their children Vickie Grieshop & partner Mike Cahill, Richard Grieshop, Adam Grieshop & fiancé Breanna Lucci, brothers & sisters: Edna Lange, St. Henry, Nick & Joan Grieshop, Yorkshire, Vern & Pat Grieshop, Yorkshire, Tom & Jan Grieshop, Franklin, in-laws Nancy & Jerry Wenzke, Dayton.
He was preceded in death by; Jeanette & Dave Quellhorst, Margie & Leo Wenning, Joe & Angie Grieshop, infant brother Kenny Grieshop, in-laws: Clete Lange, Marilyn Grieshop.
He was a member of St. Augustine Church, and a member of the Minster Eagles, Indian Lake Moose, Minster American Legion. He retired from Minster Machine, was a volunteer Fire Fighter for Osgood Fire Department and former president of St. Nicholas Parish Council. He was a Veteran of the US Army. Clete loved camping, fishing, wood working and being a "snowbird."
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:30 AM Saturday, May 6, 2023 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster with burial to follow in St. Augustine Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster on Friday, May 5, from 2 to 8 PM and from 8:30 to 9:00 AM on Saturday.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Everheart Hospice.
