Janet Linn
Janet Linn, age 96 of Celina, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023 at her residence in Celina.
She was born on September 27, 1926 to the late Chester and Angeline (Zavadnki) Stysiak in Chicago, Illinois. On September 17, 1955, she married Gordon L. Linn who passed away in 2007. She is survived by her son David Linn of Celina, and nieces Joyce (Dick) Butler of Naperville, IL, and Janet Kessler of California.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister and brother-in-law Helen (Chester "Scotty") Fugiel and nephew-in-law Bert Kessler.
Janet was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church in Celina and a member of the Elmhurst Elk Lodge #1531 in Elmhurst, IL. She was formerly employed at Travelers Insurances as an office worker and she enjoyed playing canasta.
Janet was very proud of her Polish history.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at the Lehman Dzendzel Funeral Home, with Vicar Andrea McDonough officiating. Burial will follow in the North Grove cemetery. Friends and family may call from 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. on Monday, May 8, 2023 at the Lehman Dzendzel Funeral Home.
