An Arctic front will sweep east across the region between 5 AM and 9 AM. A few hours of snow showers and west wind gusts of 35 to 40 mph will occur with the frontal passage. While any accumulations will generally be a half inch or less, some challenging travel conditions may develop given, rapidly changing road conditions and visibilities, strong wind and cold temperatures. These conditions will impact the morning commute. Use caution and allow for extra time to reach your destination.

* WHERE...Portions of east central Indiana and central and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...From 7 AM this morning to 10 AM EST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills could result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken. Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.

Kendra Hunter
Kendra Hunter passed away on June 14, 2023 at JTDM Hospital Hospice at 52 years old.
She was born February 1, 1971 in St. Marys, Ohio. Her parents, William P. Hunter and Sandra (Folk) Hunter survive at the residence in St. Marys.
She is also survived by sisters; Christine (Mike) Enderud, Carrie (Bill) Marshall and brother, Jeff (Linda) Hunter, nieces; Jessica (Cory) Rush and Bailey Enderud; nephews, Evan Daniel, Tanner Daniel, Charlie Hunter and Ben Hunter. In addition to immediate family, Kendra is survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. She loved them all.
She was preceded in death by grandparents; James H. and M. Jeanne Folk, Marion Tenyak Folk, and Thomas and Marion Smith.
Kendra attended Auglaize School and worked at Auglaize Industries. She also worked for 17 years at Oh, Balony's, The Grill and La Piazza in New Bremen. She participated in the Capabilities Program and the We Can Too Opportunity Center. She dearly loved her work families! She was a huge fan of the OSU Buckeyes, the Cincinnati Reds, the Cleveland Browns, Garth Brooks and the Beach Boys. She was a "Goonie" at heart. She lived a wonderful life at her home and had a simple philosophy...when in doubt, always choose the red crayon.
The family will have a celebration of life on Sunday, June 18, from 2-4 at the Miller - Long & Folk Funeral Home 314 W. High Street in St. Marys. Thank you to all those who walked with Kendra down her life's path. She truly loved each and every one of you!
In lieu of flowers, Kendra would love it if you would give your support to the We Can Too Opportunity Center in St. Marys on Park Drive.
