Barbara Delzeith
Barbara Delzeith, age 71 of Coldwater, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at the Ohio State Medical Center in Columbus.
She was born on April 3, 1952 in Celina to Darlene & Marjorie (Baucher) Canary. On September 1, 1973 she married David Delzeith and he preceded her in 2005.
She is survived by her mother, Marjorie Canary of Celina, three children, Jason Delzeith of Coldwater, Jodi & Kevin Christman of Powell, Tennessee, and Jessica Delzeith & Scott Hamby of Findlay, grandchildren, Korbyn, Lyndi, Adysenn, Ashlynn Delzeith, Bethanie, Brianna, Brice, Braiden Christman, and Connor Hamby, sibling and in-laws, Susan & Rolland Russell of Findlay, Randy & Sue Canary of Celina, Sharon Delzeith of Celina, Susan & Marvin Boroff of Celina, and Shirley Schwartz of Celina, and 7 nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her father, Darlene Canary and a sister, Cynthia Canary.
She retired after many years of working at Coldwater Chiefs supermarket. After retirement she still enjoyed working part time at PlaMor Lanes and The St Henry Bake Shoppe. She was a member of Coldwater Covenant Community Church and Hopewell Grange. She volunteered at Mercer Health and Coldwater Schools.
Barb was an avid sports fan and was a host to many players of the Grand Lake Mariners. Barb enjoyed supporting all her friends and family in all their activities from the stands.
Funeral Services will take place at Covenant Community Church in Coldwater, June 23 at 10 AM. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Coldwater.
Friends may call from 2pm to 8pm on Thursday, June 22 at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater and from 9am until the service time at the Covenant Community Church.
Memorials may be made to the Cancer Association of Mercer County. Condolences may be left at hogenkampfh.com.
