Mary Jane Taflinger
Mary Jane Taflinger, 89, of Ceilina, passed away on July 1, 2023 at the Gardens of Celina.
She was born August 8, 1933 in Darke County, Ohio to the late Ora and Beulah (Heckler) Ray. She married Stanley Lee Howell and he preceded her in death on August 21, 2005.
Survivors include two brothers-in-law, Larry (Cheryl) Howell and C. David Howell, both of Celina; a sister-in-law, Jan (Wayne) Doner, Celina; a daughter; a sister; many nieces and nephews; and her many friends.
Also preceding her in death are a son; three brothers; and four sisters.
She worked for many years as a housekeeper at Cole's Motel.
Mary's family would like to offer thanks to the staff at CHP Home Care & Hospice and Gardens at Celina for the special care they gave Mary. Additionally, they would also like to thank her friend Lollipop and her neighbor Angie Wies for being so good to her throughout the years.
Graveside services are at 3:30 pm on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at Swamp College Cemetery in Celina. Immediately following the services at the cemetery, the family invites everyone to the Celina VFW for a continued celebration of Mary's life.
