* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 15 below zero could result in hypothermia or frostbite if precautions are not taken.

Here comes the sunflowers

A sea of sunflowers shine in the sun at the fourth annual Schoolhouse Farms in Bloom festival at Schoolhouse Farms 1862 near Rockford. Schoolhouse Farm's signature crop attracted many shoppers and critters alike on Friday afternoon. The festival will continue through Sunday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. at its farm located on Ross Road.
