William Braun
William J. "Bill" Braun, 73, of Anna, Ohio, and formerly of Coldwater, Ohio, died peacefully at 3:04 P.M. Saturday, August 12, 2023, at Otterbein St. Marys Retirement Community, St. Marys, Ohio.
He was born September 19, 1949, in Coldwater, Ohio, the son of Walter and Evelyn (Severt) Braun. He married Cheryl Stucke on February 21, 1987; and she preceded him in death.
He is survived by three children: Julie (Paul) McCauley; Nichole (Dawn) Horrocks-Mustard; Luke (Katie) Braun. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren: Madison and Max McCauley; Mason, Sawyer, Anne and Margaret Horrocks-Mustard; Tate Braun. He is survived by 9 siblings: Mary Kirkman; Ann (Don) Wolf; Daniel (Barb) Braun; John ((Pauline) Braun; Anthony Braun; Roger (Jessica) Braun; Kenneth Braun; Susan (Michael) Fennig; Michael Braun. He is survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Cheryl.
Bill had worked for many years in automotive repair and was the owner of Braun's Garage and Hardin Street Automotive. Bill knew his way around cars and used that knowledge to provide many people with reliable transportation. He was widely known for being "ornery" but had a heart of gold.
Private family funeral rites will be held at a later date, and condolences may be sent to Bill's family via Millerfuneralhomes.net.
