An Arctic front will sweep east across the region between 5 AM and 9 AM. A few hours of snow showers and west wind gusts of 35 to 40 mph will occur with the frontal passage. While any accumulations will generally be a half inch or less, some challenging travel conditions may develop given, rapidly changing road conditions and visibilities, strong wind and cold temperatures. These conditions will impact the morning commute. Use caution and allow for extra time to reach your destination.

Vicki Brooks
Vicki K. Brooks, 59, of Celina, Ohio, passed away on August 22, 2023, at OSU Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.
She was born May 6, 1964, in Celina to the late Ralph and Marie (Counterman) Schnarre. On August 30, 1986, she married Doyle "Eddie" Brooks, Jr., and he survives at the residence in Celina.
Other survivors include two sons, Craig (Molly) Brooks, Celina and Chad (Rachel) Brooks, Fort Wayne, Indiana; five grandchildren, Jackson, Aleeah, Elizabeth, Johnathan and Carrie; a sister, Karen (Mark) Elshoff, Celina; mother-in-law Linda Brooks, Celina; sister-in-law, Dee (Shawn) Link, Celina; brother-in-law, Kevin (Toni) Brooks, Celina; and a faithful grand dog, Loki.
She was also preceded in death by her father-in-law, Doyle Brooks, Sr.
Vicki was a 1982 graduate of Celina Senior High School. She was Massage Therapist and owned and operated Therapeutic Touch in Celina for over 20 years. Vicki was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She never missed the chance to watch her grandchildren play sports and participate in school activities. She also enjoyed craft shows, antiquing, baking and cooking a new unique dish for every holiday.
Funeral services will begin at 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina with Rev. Tim Benjamin officiating; where the family will receive friends from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm prior to the service. Graveside services will follow at Swamp College Cemetery in Celina.
