An Arctic front will sweep east across the region between 5 AM and 9 AM. A few hours of snow showers and west wind gusts of 35 to 40 mph will occur with the frontal passage. While any accumulations will generally be a half inch or less, some challenging travel conditions may develop given, rapidly changing road conditions and visibilities, strong wind and cold temperatures. These conditions will impact the morning commute. Use caution and allow for extra time to reach your destination.

Michael Winhoven
Michael Robert Winhoven, age 58, of Celina, passed away Thursday morning, August 24, 2023, at Mercy Health - St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.
Mike was born December 4, 1964, in Celina, to the late Virgil R. and Wilma J. (Berry) Winhoven.
He is survived by a daughter: Heather (Steve) Fleck, and son: Tyler (Jennifer Kinney) Winhoven, of Celina, grandchildren: Chase, Lauren, Landon, Olivia, Sophia and Lilliana, and great grandchildren: Annie Rose and Waylon.
Surviving brothers and sisters are: Joyce (David) Routt of Van Wert, Ronald (Mary) Winhoven of St. Marys, Karen Chandler of Celina, Carol Winhoven and Sharon Winhoven of Cincinnati, and Donald Winhoven of Celina. Numerous nieces and nephews, and the mother of his children, Joellen Litmer of Celina, also survive.
He was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law: Gerald and Lynn Winhoven, and a brother-in-law: Clifford Chandler Sr.
Mike graduated from Celina High School, and had worked at the Huffy Bicycle Plant until it closed. Favorite activities of Mike's were playing cards - particularly poker, with a group of buddies and watching Ohio State Buckeyes and Washington Redskins football games. Mike especially enjoyed watching and spending time with his grandson, Landon.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 29, at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina, with Pastor Randy Christian officiating. Burial will follow at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.
Calling Hours are 2:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday, August 28, at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Fox Family Ride for Autism.
