* WHERE...Portions of east central Indiana and central and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...From 7 AM Monday to 9 AM EST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 10 below zero could result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken. Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.

Periods of light snow can be expected tonight with some scattered snow showers then lingering into Monday morning. Snow totals of around an inch or less will be possible. Increasing winds later tonight and Monday morning will support blowing snow, primarily in rural areas.
Challenging travel conditions will be possible starting tonight and continuing through the day on Monday. Use caution and allow for extra time to reach your destination.

Richard Bertke
Richard L. Bertke, 73, of Celina, Ohio, passed away on August 28, 2023, at Celina Manor surrounded by his family.
He was born November 5, 1949, in Celina to the late Leroy R. and Mary Alice (Bertke) Bertke. On September 3, 1977, he married Janice (Sanning) Bertke and she survives at the residence in Celina.
Other survivors include his three sons, R. Joshua (Ashleigh) Bertke, Columbus, Jared Bertke and Jordan Bertke, both of Celina; a granddaughter, Phoebe Bertke; five sisters-in-law, Ruth Lupton, Tipp City, Betty Bertke, Coldwater, Pat (Jim) Sudhoff, Fort Recovery, Betty Sanning, Coldwater, Marilyn (Tom) Bruns, Burkettsville.
Also preceding him in death was two brothers, Ronald and Larry Bertke; a sister, Bonnie (Bob) Francis; his in-laws, Julius (Alfrieda) Sanning; and a brother-in-law, Marvin Sanning.
Richard was a 1968 graduate of Immaculate Conception Catholic High School in Celina and the International Business College in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He retired after being a butcher for 50 plus years at Jerry's IGA, Celina, Brodbecks, St. Marys and Coldwater and most recently at Chief Supermarket, Coldwater. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina, Celina K of C, Celina Eagles Post # 1291 and Celina VFW Post #5713. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, playing cards, watching the Cincinnati Reds and most of all spending time with his family.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 am on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at the Immaculate Conception Church in Celina with Fr. John Tonkin officiating.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 am - 10:00 am at the funeral home Wednesday morning. Burial will follow at St. Marys Catholic Cemetery in Celina.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Cancer Association of Mercer County, 218 South Main Street, Celina, Ohio 45822.
