* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...The following county, in west central Ohio, Mercer.
* WHEN...Until 500 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1240 AM EDT, radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Celina, Coldwater, Wabash, Mendon, Montezuma, Tama and Neptune.

Terry Huston
Terry Huston, 80, of New Knoxville, died 7:20 a.m. on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
He was born April 8, 1943, in Celina, Ohio, the son of Alvin and Agnes (Wierwille) Huston. His father was killed in action on April 6, 1944, and Terry was raised by Agnes and Reinhart Vohs. He married Rebecca Colvin on November 16, 1963, at the Wayne Street United Methodist Church in St. Marys, and she survives in New Knoxville.
He is also survived by his son, Chad (Cherie) Huston of New Knoxville; by his daughter-in-law, Maggie Huston of Burlington, Kentucky; by his grandchildren: Ashley Huston of Fairlawn, Ohio; Lucas (Jessica) Huston of St. Marys and J.J. Huston of Cincinnati.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Alvin Huston, Agnes Huston Vohs, and his stepfather, Reinhart Vohs; by his daughter, Sheila Huston and by his son, Jeff Huston.
Terry was a 1961 graduate of New Knoxville High School. He had worked as a carpenter from 1961-63, a shipping clerk from 1964-1990 at Hoge Brush Company in New Knoxville and then at Honda of America in Anna, Ohio, from 1990-2001. He was a member of the First Church of New Knoxville, where he had served as a deacon and trustee.
Funeral rites will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 21, 2024, at the First Church of New Knoxville, the Reverend Joel Bucklin, officiant. Burial will follow at Pilger Ruhe Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, St. Marys, and from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at the church.
Memorial gifts may be given to the Radio Broadcast Fund of the First Church of New Knoxville.
