Mercer officials OK $78M budget
That figure is a $1M decrease from last year's budget of $79.43M
CELINA - Mercer County commissioners last week approved the 2024 county budget, which totals about $78.56 million.
Commissioners decreased the county's total appropriations by 1% and approved the $78,564,227.65 budget.
Fire destroys maintenance workshop, no injuries
COLDWATER- A maintenance shop located just outside of Coldwater was destroyed by flames mid evening on Friday.
No one was injured in the blaze but the shop was deemed a total loss, according to Southwest Mercer Fire Department Assistant Chief John Kaffenberger. [More]
