Morgan Baumer

St. Henry

5-7 sophomore guard

9.1 PPG, 3.1 Rebounds, 1.8 Assists, 2.7 Steals

On a deep St. Henry team, Baumer stood out for her all-around contributions. Her aggressive defense helped power the Redskins' full-court press, which they often deployed all 32 minutes, and she could score from inside or out, shooting 43% overall and 32 % from 3-point range.

In her second year starting on varsity, Baumer scored almost three more points per game than her freshman campaign.

Baumer recorded nine double-digit games, including a 20-point outburst in the Midwest Athletic Conference opener at Versailles, the eventual MAC co-champs. In the regular season finale, as St. Henry needed a win to sew up its first MAC title, Baumer overcame a scoreless first half with back-to-back buckets in the third quarter that gave the Redskins the lead for good, then shot 7-for-8 from the free throw line down the stretch to help secure the win.
