Cindy Knapke
Cindy E. Knapke, 64, of Fort Recovery, Ohio, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, March 11, 2024.
She was born on February 12, 1960, in Coldwater, Ohio, to the late Herbert and Irene (Huelskamp) Siefring.
In addition to her parents, Cindy was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Marlene (John) Bihn, her brother and sister-in-law, Eugene (Patricia) Siefring; and her brothers-in-law, Leonard Bihn and Dale Link.
Cindy is survived by her husband, Mark Knapke, whom she married on July 15, 2006; her children, Greg (Kendra) Dilworth of New Weston; Scott (Candi) Dilworth of Fort Recovery; Tiny (Tracy) Dilworth of Fort Recovery; Nicole (Kevin) Schoenherr of Fort Recovery; Kelly (Scott) Delzeith of Dayton; Julie (Ben) Barga of New Bremen; and Bryant Knapke of Fort Recovery; her 11 grandchildren; her siblings, Barbara Link of Portland and Ruth (Louis) Grisez of New Weston; and her in-laws, Roger (Vicky) Knapke of Coldwater; Jerry (Mary Ann) Knapke of Celina; Denny (Zee) Knapke of Coldwater; Dino (Carol) Knapke of Fort Recovery; Jim (Carol) Knapke of Fort Recovery; and Marilyn (Dan) Schmitz of Fort Recovery.
Cindy was a 1978 graduate of Fort Recovery High School. She owned and operated her own chicken farm for many years. Cindy loved spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren.
Per Cindy's request, there will be no public visitation.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 15, 2024, at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
