Light snow will overspread the area from the northwest this morning. An increased coverage of snow showers is expected to develop this afternoon into the evening hours. Slick spots may develop on roads tonight as temperatures drop and northwest winds gust up to 30 mph. Coverage of snow showers is expected to decrease overnight before ending Monday morning. Most the area will see an accumulation of 1 to 2 inches. Locally higher amounts are possible in areas where heavier snow bands develop this afternoon into early evening.
Roadways may become slick. If traveling, be alert, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.

Donald Muhlenkamp
Donald J. Muhlenkamp, age 86, of Coldwater, died on Friday, April 12, 2024 at his home.
He was born May 14, 1937, in Celina to the late Ferd & Gertrude (Obringer) Muhlenkamp. On May 11, 1963 he married Treva (Stachler) Muhlenkamp in Sharpsburg, and she survives in Coldwater.
He is survived by a son Michael (Stacy) Muhlenkamp of New Carlisle; a daughter Lisa (Kevin) Boroff of Ft. Recovery; grandsons: Kevin (Ashley) Muhlenkamp of Galena, and Jordan Muhlenkamp of Huber Heights; great-granddaughter, Hadley Rae Muhlenkamp; siblings and in-laws: Eugene (Mona) Muhlenkamp of Woodland, Calif.; Charles Muhlenkamp of Urbana; Cy (Cheryl) Muhlenkamp of Coldwater; David (Judy) Muhlenkamp of Celina; Jim (Vercy) Stachler of Rossburg; Janice (Leonard) Wendel of Winchester, Ind.; Lee (Maggie) Stachler of Minster; Luke (Connie) Stachler of Versailles; Ruth (Kenn) Burkhart of North Star; Roseann (Mark) Schieltz of Greenville; Bernard (Linda) Stachler of Rossburg; Donna Lou (Art) Meyer of Covington; Julieann Stachler of Celina; and Robert (Judy) Stachler of Greenville.
He is preceded in death by his parents-in-law Clarence and Veronica Stachler and sister-in-law Margie Muhlenkamp.
He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, the Coldwater Knights of Columbus, Coldwater American Legion, Historical Society of Mercer County and the New Idea Preservation Committee. Don worked at the former New Idea Plant in Coldwater.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater. Burial with military rites will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Friends may call from 2-7 p.m. on Tuesday and 9 to 10 a.m. on Wednesday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
