Mendon man dies in wreck on US 127

From staff reports
DUBLIN TOWNSHIP - A 49-year-old Mendon man was killed in a two-vehicle accident early Wednesday morning in Dublin Township.
Mercer County Central Dispatch received a 911 call at 5:03 a.m. about a traffic crash on U.S. Route 127, north of Dutton Road, according to a news release from Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey.
Travis S. Fox was driving a 2010 dark blue Chevy van northbound on U.S. Route 127. Cody L. Snyder, 30, of Seymour, Indiana, was driving a 2015 white Freightliner semitractor-trailer southbound on U.S. Route 127, according to the release.
For reasons unknown, Fox traveled left of center, striking the semitractor-trailer, an investigation revealed.
Fox was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Mercer County Sheriff's Office Crash Reconstruction Team was called to the scene.
Also assisting at the scene were Rockford Fire Department, Rockford Emergency Medical Services, Celina EMS and Mercer County Emergency Response Volunteers.
The crash remains under investigation by the sheriff's office and will be forwarded to the county prosecutor's office for review.
