Lana Boos
Lana E. Boos, 74, of Saint Marys, died 4:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
She was born October 9, 1949, in Lima, Ohio, the daughter of David and Lois (Boroff) Wood. She married Ronald Boos on July 24, 1971, and he preceded her in death on January 3, 1991.
She is survived by her son, Joshua Boos of Saint Marys; by her grandchildren: Jack Boos; Lexi Boos and Katherine Boos; by her siblings: Michael Wood of Delaware, Ohio; Deborah (Dick) West of Yuma, Arizona; Pamela McKee of Marysville, Ohio; Teresa Wood of Saint Marys; by her sister-in-law, Margaret Neumann of Celina.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; her in-laws Albert and Patricia Boos; her brother-in-law, Richard Boos.
Lana was a 1967 graduate of Saint Marys Memorial High School, and also a graduate of Ohio State University. She served as a substitute teacher for Saint Marys City Schools for many years. Family was Lana's top priority, but she also enjoyed cheering on the OSU Buckeyes and the Cincinnati Reds. She was a proud Roughrider and was especially fond of the Saint Marys All Brass Band.
Private family funeral rites will be held at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, 314 West High Street, Saint Marys, The Reverend Tim Benjamin, officiant. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.
Memorial gifts may be given to the Saint Marys All Brass Band. Memories and condolences may be sent to Lana's family via Millerfuneralhomes.net.

William J. Ernst age 82 of Minster, Ohio, died on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at his home in Minster. [More]
