Marcella Siegrist
Marcella "Sally" R. Siegrist, age 65, of Coldwater, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.
She was born on November 17, 1959, in Coldwater, to the late Gerald "Jerry" and Irene (Gruss) Timmerman. On August 1, 1981, Sally married Donald "Don" J. Siegrist, who survives.
In addition to her husband, Sally is survived by her children, Jeremy (Rachel) Siegrist of Fort Recovery, and Jessica Siegrist of Coldwater; her grandson, Wesley; her siblings, Thelma (Bob) Parks of Greenville, Sue Flory of Dunkirk, Indiana, Mark (Dixie) Timmerman of Fort Recovery, Lois (Steve) Vogel of Fort Recovery, Dave (Lisa) Timmerman of Fort Recovery, Joyce (Tom) Fullenkamp of Fort Recovery, and Roger Timmerman of St. Henry; her sisters-in-law, Ginny Pugh of Fort Recovery and Lucy Homan of Coldwater; her brother-in-law, Ken Stammen of Fort Recovery; her in-laws, Tom (Vicki) Siegrist of Fort Recovery, Dorothy Bruggeman of Coldwater, Jerry (Sharon) Siegrist of Chickasaw, Jim (Angie) Siegrist of Fort Recovery, Karen (Larry) Langston of Versailles, and Dale (Pam) Siegrist of St. Henry; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Sally was preceded in death by her son, Joshua Siegrist; her siblings, Edward (Jeanette) Timmerman, Patricia Stammen, Tony Timmerman, Kevin Timmerman, and infant sister, Mary Timmerman; her brothers-in-law, Ken Flory and Dave Bruggeman; and her father and mother-in-law, Ivo and Dolores (Grilliot) Siegrist.
Sally was a 1978 graduate of Fort Recovery High School. She previously worked in Internal Sales for Mirco Precision in Berne, Indiana; and currently worked for Fort Recovery Industries. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, the church's lady sodality, and the Fort Recovery FFA Alumni. Sally enjoyed going on vacation and looked forward to her yearly "sisters" trip. Family meant the world to Sally. She loved being with them and going to their activities. She cherished her grandson Wesley, who always brought a smile to her face. Sally never knew a stranger and thoroughly enjoyed conversating with family and friends. In her free time, it was not uncommon to find Sally reading a good book.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, December 6, 2024, at St. Peter Catholic Church with Father Joseph Pasala officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Guests may visit with her family on Thursday, December 5, 2024, from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Friday from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM at Brockman Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
