Very strong wind gusts and dry soil is leading to areas of blowing dust across the area. This is causing visibility to be reduced to one mile or less in localized area. Motorists should be prepared for rapidly changing visibility. Slow down and leave plenty of distance between you and the vehicle in front of you. As winds slowly decrease late this afternoon into the evening, blowing dust should diminish.

As many as 250 area kids ranging in age from 7 to 17 participated in the third shoot of the Mercer County Pheasants Forever #745 Youth Archery League 2025 season at Send It Archers in Celina on Saturday. The young archers spent the day learning and honing in on their form and technique from experienced marksmen at Send It Archers. Although registration is closed for the 2025 season, those who are interested in participating in the 2026 season can register at the Mercer County Pheasants Forever #745 Facebook page when it opens in December 2025.
