Light snow will overspread the area from the northwest this morning. An increased coverage of snow showers is expected to develop this afternoon into the evening hours. Slick spots may develop on roads tonight as temperatures drop and northwest winds gust up to 30 mph. Coverage of snow showers is expected to decrease overnight before ending Monday morning. Most the area will see an accumulation of 1 to 2 inches. Locally higher amounts are possible in areas where heavier snow bands develop this afternoon into early evening.
Roadways may become slick. If traveling, be alert, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.

Deborah Schroer
Deborah "Debbie" K. Schroer, age 70, of Celina, Ohio, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on February 4, 2025, at Mercer Health Community Hospital in Coldwater.
She was born on April 17, 1954, in Celina, to Melvin Jr. and Mary (Counterman) Hull. On June 16, 1973, she married the love of her life, Nicholas "Nick" R. Schroer, who preceded her in death on January 6, 2018. She was also preceded in death by her father, Melvin Hull Jr.
Debbie is survived by her mother, Mary Hull of Celina; her children, Jodi Schroer of Lima, Mindi (Don) Bird of Coldwater, and Nichole (DQ Lewis) Schroer of Fort Mill, South Carolina; her cherished grandchildren, Macie, Ashli, Zoey, Kendall, Kameron, Karson, Aaliyah, and Ava; and her great-granddaughter, Ariaunna. She also leaves behind her sisters, Colleen (Rick) Hilker of Fort Wayne and Sheri Hull of Celina; three sisters-in-law, Linda (Karl) Engle of Texas, Mary Harris of Celina, and Bonnie Allen of Texas; and her longtime family friends, Greg (Gay) Brehm.
A proud graduate of Celina High School, Class of 1972, Debbie was a homemaker at heart and also worked for Ohio City Manufacturing/Findley Industries until its closing. She was an active member of the Red Hat Society and the Old Fashion Farmers of Van Wert.
Debbie found joy in life's simple pleasures-browsing garage sales, flea markets, and thrift stores, taking scenic drives in her beloved convertible Mustang, and most of all, spending time with her family. She was the heart of every gathering, known for her warmth, quick wit, and feisty spirit. Her love for family was unwavering, and she cherished every visit, especially during the holidays, which she made extra special with her fun-loving nature and generous heart.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina, with Rev. Becky Erb Strang officiating. Family and friends may visit from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
A private graveside service will take place on Monday morning at North Grove Cemetery in Celina.
In honor of Debbie's giving spirit, memorial contributions may be made to Agape Ministries, 1220 E. Spring St., St. Marys, Ohio 45885.
