Lanny Arnold
Lanny R. Arnold, 73, of Celina, Ohio, passed away peacefully at his home on February 8, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on July 23, 1951, in Celina to the late Roy and June (Vorhees) Arnold. On March 18, 1972, he married the love of his life, Carolyn M. (Gossard) Arnold, and together they shared 52 wonderful years of marriage.
Lanny is survived by his devoted wife, Carolyn; his sons, Jason (June) Arnold and Todd Arnold, both of Celina; his cherished grandchildren, Jordan (Brittney), Dylan (Desiree), Alexis, Brandon, Chandler, Evan, and Alicea; and a great-grandchild on the way. He is also survived by his sister, Dianne (Ralph) Craft of West Alexandria, Ohio.
A proud graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School, Class of 1969, Lanny later retired from Cooper Farms, where he worked as a dedicated truck driver.
Lanny had an incredible talent for fixing anything-if something was broken, he could repair it. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, never hesitating to drop what he was doing to assist someone, especially his family. A lifelong Cleveland Browns and Indians fan, he loved cheering on his teams. He also had a special place in his heart for his beloved pet cats. But above all, Lanny's greatest joy in life was his family, who will miss him deeply.
Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, February 14, 2025, at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina, with his granddaughter, Alexis Yenser, officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Association of Mercer County, 218 S. Main St, Celina, Ohio 45822.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude for the love, care, and support shown during this difficult time.
