Snow showers will continue this afternoon into the evening hours. Slick spots may develop on roads tonight as temperatures drop and northwest winds gust from 20 to 30 mph. Coverage of snow showers is expected to decrease overnight before ending Monday morning. Most the area will see an accumulation of one-half inch to 2 inches. Visibility will be restricted at times in the heavier showers.
Roadways may become slick. If traveling, be alert, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.

James Thornsberry
James Corbit Thornsberry, 78, of St. Marys, OH died Saturday February 1, 2025 at his residence.
He was born December 12, 1946 in Millard, KY to Sterling and Alma Ruth (Moor) Thornsberry.
Survivors include: daughter Jackie Speckman of St. Marys, OH; daughter Jenny Ward of Sidney, OH; 8 grandchildren: John (Teresa) Vondenheuvel, Jr., Jason (Megan) Vondenhuevel, Harlie (Bri) Ward, Alayna Thornsberry, Destiny Ward, Raycen Ward, Allyson Speckman, Cameron Thornsberry; brother Larry Thornsberry of Visialia, CA; sister Linda Slone of Garner, KY; sister Pauline Slone of St. Marys, OH; brother Ricky Thornsberry of St. Marys, OH; sister Carol Thornsberry of Wheelwright, KY; and former spouse Joyce Thornsberry of St. Marys, OH.
Preceded in death by: parents Sterling and Alma Ruth Thornsberry; infant granddaughter Delanie Ward; brother Tilden Ray Thornsberry; sister Pam (Bill) Slone; brother-in-law Coy Slone; and brother-in-law Jimmy Slone.
James proudly served his country in the United States Navy, having been assigned to the USS Lloyd Thomas during the Vietnam War. He was a production employee for CROWN Equipment for more than 40 years.
Private family services will be held.
Burial will take place in the Newman Cemetery near Hi Hat, KY.
