* WHAT...Snow. Additional snow accumulations up to one inch. Snow melt and refreezing overnight has resulted in the development of black ice on roads.
* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...Until 11 AM EST this morning.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning commute.

Snow showers to continue this morning. Slick spots on area roads will be possible this morning with temperatures below freezing. Motorists can expect rapid changes in visibility when encountering some of the heavier snow showers. Northwest winds gusting up to 30 mph will add to the travel impacts due to blowing and drifting snow.
Roadways may become slick. If traveling, be alert, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.

Shirley Baltzell
Shirley J. Baltzell, 87, formerly of Rockford, Ohio and Celina, Ohio, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2025 at Elmwood Assisted Living Center in New Bremen.
She was born December 29, 1937 in Middlesboro, Kentucky and was the daughter of the late David and Louvernia (Hensley) Wilson.
Shirley graduated from Celina High School. After graduation, she married James "Jim" Baltzell on March 23, 1957. He preceded her in death on July 8, 2015.
She worked for many years at TuWay Products in Rockford until retirement. Shirley attended the Celina First Church of God. Her favorite pasttime was spending time with her family.
Surviving are Shirley's son, Eric Baltzell of Celina, Ohio; daughter, Tami (John) Conklin of Whitehouse, Ohio; granddaughter, Amanda Bryant of Bowling Green, Ohio; two great grandchildren, Amelia Bryant and William Bryant; and her siblings, Henry Wilson, Otto Wilson, Lena Gruver, David Wilson, Marvin Wilson, Sandy Kable, and Rick Wilson.
In addition to her parents and husband Jim, Shirley was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Alan "Tim" Baltzell; her sister, Vera Wilson; and her brother, Jay Wilson.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at the Ketcham Ripley Funeral Home, 111 West First Street, Rockford, Ohio 45882, with Pastor Craig Flack officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, 3750 US-33 West, Rockford, Ohio 45882.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, March 11, 2025, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, as well as one hour prior to the funeral service, Wednesday March 12, 2025 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, at Ketcham Ripley Funeral Home, 111 West First Street, Rockford, Ohio 45882.
Memorial contributions in memory of Shirley Baltzell may be shared with Celina First Church of God, 850 Fairground Road, Celina, Ohio 45822.
