Sarah K. Bomholt, age 81, of Celina, Ohio, passed away peacefully at her home on March 31, 2025. She was born on December 19, 1943, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Victor and Sophia (Synck) Bomholt.

Sarah is lovingly remembered by her nieces, Lisa (Bob) Heidenburg of Shawnee, Kansas, Melissa (Mark) Hephner of Olathe, Kansas, and Kandy (Matt) Fritch of Gonzales, Texas. She is also survived by several great-nieces and great-nephews, along with a great-great-niece and a great-great-nephew, as well as her extended family in Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Elizebeth Carroll.

A 1961 graduate of Coldwater High School, Sarah went on to earn her bachelor's degree in education from Wright State University-Lake Campus in Celina. She dedicated her career to teaching at Celina High School and Coldwater High School, but she was perhaps best known for her passion as a dance instructor in Coldwater, where she taught for over 30 years.

Sarah was a devout member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina. She had a deep love for animals, especially her faithful dog, Sundae. A spirited competitor, she enjoyed playing all types of games and brought enthusiasm to everything she did.

A memorial Mass will be held at the convenience of the Bomholt family. In honor of Sarah's generous spirit, memorial contributions may be made to the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Coldwater, Ohio.
