Daniel Fullenkamp
On Wednesday, April 9, 2025, Daniel Ralph Fullenkamp, beloved husband of the late Jean M. Fullenkamp, father of three children and grandfather of ten grandchildren passed away at the age of 77. Dan was born on September 25, 1947 in St. Henry, OH to Louis and Bernadette Fullenkamp.
He grew up in St. Henry in a loving home with seven brothers and five sisters. He attended St. Henry High School, from which he graduated in 1965. He continued on to the University of Dayton where he earned a bachelor's degree in business (1969) and his MBA (1971). There Dan met his future wife, Jean Garner. On May 15, 1971, he married Jean, and for 49 years they lived a life blessed with love, happiness, joy and deep contentment. They raised three children: Joshua, Nicholas, and Melissa.
In 1971 Dan began a long successful career in banking, more specifically, commercial lending with clients in Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia. He retired in 2013.
In his professional and personal life, Dan treated others with dignity and kindness. Dan deeply cared for his wide circle of friends and large family. He was a proud man who valued his roots from St. Henry and the life he built in Maryland. Dan was an impressive amateur handyman, excelled at taking naps, enjoyed scotch and loved action movies and westerns. Yet nothing brought him greater joy than spending time with his children and grandchildren. Dan's love for his grandchildren was shown through countless hours babysitting, attending sporting events, sharing special days with Grandpa or watching them for the weekend.
