A band of snow showers will drop into the region from northern Indiana, and push through the region through the afternoon. Some snow showers could produce a quick light coating of snow on elevated surfaces and bridges. Visibility may also be briefly reduced to a half mile or even less. Northwest winds will also gust up to 30 MPH.
Lighter snowfall will continue into the evening behind the initial band of snow showers, with accumulations from a few tenths to isolated accumulations of up to an inch.
Motorists should exercise caution and be prepared for rapidly changing conditions.

Jane Weigel
Jane Weigel, age 72 of Celina, Ohio, passed away on Friday, May 2, 2025 surrounded by family at her home after battling cancer for six years. She was born May 27, 1952, in Lima to the late Edward & Margaret (Fullerton) Grover. She married Michael Weigel on May 16, 1975, and he survives in Celina.
Jane is survived by her two daughters Jill & Chuck Davis of Glouster, Ohio, and Joni & Scott Piper of Celina, five grandchildren, Casey & Jessa Davis and Michael, Jacob, and Madalyn Piper, and in-laws, Deb & Bob Huwer, Mark Weigel, and Jeff & Connie Weigel all of Coldwater. She was preceded in death by a sister, Francis Grover.
She was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Jane retired from Joint Township Memorial Hospital in St. Marys. She was also a member of the Celina Moose Lodge. She had a passion for animals, especially her two dogs, Lilly and Josie and brown Swiss cows. Jane also enjoyed home decorating, shopping, traveling, casinos and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11.30 am. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church on Tuesday, May 6, 2025. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery.
Per Jane's wishes a private viewing will be held for immediate family only. A luncheon will follow the mass located at The Grotto located in the Holy Trinity Church basement.
Memorial contributions may be made to Grand Lake Hospice-St. Marys.

Gregory C. McEldowney, age 51, of Fort Recovery, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 2, 2025, in Jay County, Indiana. [More]
