ROCKFORD - Despite the village not having an ordinance requiring golf carts to be plated, mayor Ron Searight directed the Rockford Village Council to have a committee meeting to discuss whether or not the council should put legislation in place.

CELINA - One rough inning prove to be the difference for the Grand Lake Mariners on Tuesday night.

CELINA - Mercer County Commissioners on Tuesday morning agreed to place a 0.25-mill, five-year property tax levy in support of the financially strapped Mercer Health District on the Nov. 4 general election ballot.
