Nolan Combs

Nolan Combs, 78, of Saint Marys, died 11:15 P.M. Friday, June 27, 2025, at his residence.

He was born July 16, 1946, in Dwarf, Kentucky, the son of Malando and Naomi (Hicks) Combsy.

He is survived by his children: Felicia (Robert Gillin) Combs of Celina; Devin (Brittney) Combs of Mendon; by his granddaughter, Olivia Medaugh of Celina; by his siblings: George (Frances) Combs of Lima; Lanford (Jane) Combs of Shawnee; Phillip (Rose) Combs of the Philippines.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Nolan attended M.C. Napier High School in Hazard, Kentucky. He was a veteran of the US Army. He retired from Huffy Manufacturing in Celina. He enjoyed racing go-karts with his son at Eldora Speedway and he also liked golfing, painting and fishing.

Funeral rites will be held 10:30 A.M. Saturday, July 5, 2025, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, the Reverend Tim Benjamin, officiant. Burial will follow at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.

Friends may call one hour prior to the funeral on Saturday at the funeral home.
