Special Weather Statement issued January 10 at 11:24PM EST by NWS Wilmington OH (details ...)
Snow is expected across the area late tonight into early Sunday morning. Some light accumulations are possible. With temperatures falling, and reduced visibilities in the snow, travel conditions may become difficult.
Additional snow showers are expected during the morning and early afternoon. As snow showers move through, quick bursts of snow will reduce visibility and result in light snow accumulations which may cover roadways.
If traveling, allow extra time, and prepare for changes in driving conditions.

St. Marys puts on its purple
Photo by Paige Sutter/The Daily Standard

Paint the Town Purple kicked off its first year in St. Marys this week to educate residents about the Alzheimer's Association and the services available to locals affected by the disease and other forms of dementia. Spring Street was painted purple on Monday with "purple promise flowers," which symbolize hope and light, planted around the municipal building and down the street. Also, businesses along the street joined in and decorated their windows purple. Paint the Town Purple is back for the second year in Celina with purple flowers decorating the courthouse lawn and purple decor outside of several businesses. The week-long event also serves as an important kick-off to the Walk to End Alzheimer's season. The 10th annual Celina walk will take place at the Wright State-Lake Campus on Sept. 13.
