Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Ruth Snyder McGlothen
Ruth A. Snyder McGlothen, 79, of St. Marys, Ohio, entered into eternal rest at 3:15 a.m. on Wednesday August 27, 2025, at JTDMH.
She was born on November 24, 1945, to the late Robert Dale and Goldie Marie (Rostorfer) Merriman. On April 13, 1963, she married Fred Snyder in Pleasant Mills, Indiana; he preceded her in death on April 11, 2003.
She later married Morton Parker McGlothen, who also preceded her in death.
Ruth is survived by her sons: Brad Snyder of St. Marys, Scott Snyder of St. Marys, and TJ (Ammy) Snyder of St. Marys; seven grandchildren: Shane, Nate, Jason, Jamie, Tyler, Bailey, and Max; and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Janet Florence of New Carlisle, Ohio, and sister-in-law Ruth Ann Merriman of St. Marys and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Nan Snyder Dickrede; and her brother, Jim Merriman.
Ruth dedicated more than 30 years of her life to caring for others as a nurse aide and home caregiver.
Her gentle hands and compassionate heart brought comfort to countless families. Beyond her work, Ruth was a woman of deep faith. She was a longtime member of Zion Lutheran Church.
Ruth's greatest joy was spending time with her family and the many friends she cherished throughout her life. Her kindness, compassion, and warmth touched everyone who knew her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of her loved ones.

Private funeral services will be held. Final resting place will be Resthaven Memory Gardens near Moulton, OH.
