Conrad Bettinger
Conrad Bettinger, age 72, of Coldwater, passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at Celina Manor.
He was born on September 27, 1952 in Coldwater to the late Paul & Angela (Wehrkamp) Bettinger. On June 12, 2004 At Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Coldwater, he married Tammy (Baker) Bettinger and she survives him in Coldwater.
He is also survived by daughters, Emily & Brad Kaiser of Columbus and Jennifer Grieshop and significant other, Kimberly Lutz of Sugargrove, Ohio; a grandson, Julian Kaiser; siblings and in-laws, William & Lori Bettinger of Coldwater, Eric & Sandy Bettinger of Coldwater, Dietrich Bettinger of Dayton, Theresa & Rod Arney of Dayton, Gretchen Hoyng of St. Henry, Carmen & Ralph Meyer of Coldwater, and Ramona Bettinger of Celina; nieces and nephews, Chelsea Thompson, Lisol Warfle, Justine Reardon, Gavin Bettinger, Ethan Bettinger, Malave Bettinger, Creighton Bettinger, Seth Meyer, Kala leComte, and Lexi Hemmelgarn; uncles and aunts, Carl & Ruth Bettinger of Coldwater and Grace Rutschilling of Coldwater, and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
Conrad was preceded in death by a sister, Christina Bettinger; and uncles and aunts, Herman & Rita Bettinger, William Bettinger, Clete & Norma Bettinger, Bob & Barb Bettinger, LaVern & Marlene Bettinger, Clarina & Serf Lefeld, Lucille & Harold Bergman, Mary Ellen Bettinger, Marguerite & Clete Griesdorn, and Paul Rutschilling.
Conrad was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He was also a member of the Coldwater Eagles and American Legion. He was an avid fan of the Coldwater Cavaliers, Ohio State Buckeyes, and Cleveland Browns. He was a proud founder of the SouthSide Softball team and MD softball tournament held in Coldwater. Conrad retired after many years at New Idea and Thieman Stamping. Conrad leaves behind his beloved dogs, Gizmo, Ginger, and Gracie.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, September 15 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater.
Friends may call on Sunday, September 14, 2025 from 1 PM to 4 PM and on Monday from 9 AM to 10 AM at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
