Carl Wuebker
Carl E. Wuebker, age 80, of McCartyville, Ohio, died on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at Ohio Living Dorothy Love in Sidney, Ohio.
He was born on March 24, 1945 in St. Patrick, Ohio to the late Robert F. & Henrietta (Benanzer) Wuebker. He married Velma Wermert on May 6, 1967 in St. Sebastian Catholic Church, St. Sebastian, Ohio and she survives in McCartyville.
He is also survived by children: Jeffrey & Vickie Wuebker, McCartyville, Scott & Brenda Wuebker, McCartyville, Kevin & Rachel Wuebker, Troy, Craig & Heather Wuebker, McCartyville, 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, brother Robert & Barb Wuebker, Minster, Mary & John Schwieterman, Montezuma, in-laws: George & Judy Wermert, Teutopolis, IL, Paul & Norma Wermert, Coldwater, Marita & Dave Fullenkamp, Philothea, Don & Della Wermert, St. Henry, Ruth & Paul Rutschilling, Maria Stein, John & DeAnna Wermert Murfreesboro, TN.
He was preceded in death by an infant brother and infant sister, brother-in-law Mark Wermert.
Carl was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, McCartyville, Knights of Columbus, McCartyville, Minster F.O.E. #1391, American Legion, Minster. He was in the US Army Reserves and retired from the Village of Minster as Street Superintendent for 44 years. He was a lifelong farmer and part of the Moonwalkers Camping Club. He enjoyed woodworking and making things for his grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM Friday, November 7, 2025 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, McCartyville, with burial to follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster, on Thursday, November 6, 2025 from 3 to 7 PM and on Friday, November 7 at SACRED HEART CHURCH, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Center for Neurological Development and Shelby County Right to Life.
