* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...The following counties, in west central Ohio, Auglaize, Champaign, Darke, Hardin, Logan, Miami and Shelby.
* WHEN...Until 1030 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 724 PM EDT, radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Troy, Sidney, Piqua, Bellefontaine, Kenton, Ada, West Milton, Versailles, Covington, Newport, Bradford, Anna, Fort Loramie, Jackson Center, Forest, Russells Point, De Graff, Pleasant Hill, Botkins and Lakeview.

Daniel Prosser
Daniel J. Prosser, age 75, of Fort Recovery, passed away, surrounded by his family, on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Mercer Health in Coldwater.
He was born on January 19, 1950, in Union City, Indiana, to the late Harry and Letha (Rhoades) Prosser.
Daniel is survived by his wife of 52 years, Patricia (Hackney) Prosser, whom he married on June 16, 1973; his children, Justin (Trena) Prosser of Celina, and Erin (Chris) Hartings of Fort Recovery; his grandchildren, Madison, Ethan, Kayelee, Isabell, Charlotte, and Harper; and great grandchildren, Willow, Weston, and Wrynlee; his sister, Patricia Newberry of Greencastle, Indiana; his sister-in-law, Becky (David Conn) Klenke; and numerous nieces and nephew.
In addition to his parents, Daniel was preceded in death by his brother, Calvin Prosser; his brothers-in-law, Alan Newberry and Robert Klenke; and his sister-in-law, Linda Hackney.
Daniel served his country honorably in the United States Navy. Upon returning home, he began a 38-year career as a welder and fabricator, working for the Union City Body Company and Manco.
Outside of work, Daniel loved spending time building custom radio-controlled airplanes for many people over the past 40 years. He was a member of the Fort Recovery VFW and the Celina Flying Sportsman Club.
A burial in St. Joesph Catholic Cemetery, with full military honors, will be held at a future date.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Cancer Association of Mercer County.
