  ST. MARYS- St. Marys councilors on Monday night established the city's first ordinance related to electric micro-mobility devices in town, setting the stage for nearby municipalities to potentially do the same.
Officials in both St. Marys and Celina have shared serious safety concerns about electronic bicycles and electronic scooters several times this year. Monday night's ordinance was St. Marys officials' first crack at curbing some of those risks. [More]

Snow brings first wrecks, school closures and snowmen
CELINA - The first snow of the season on Monday created hazardous road conditions, resulting in school closures and dozens of accidents across Mercer County and western Auglaize County.
MARIA STEIN - With winter rapidly closing in, crews are rushing to seal the $23.4 million new Marion Local middle school under construction so interior work can be completed regardless of weather conditions.
COLDWATER - Coldwater village council members on Monday reviewed bids for the 2026 Second Street reconstruction phase 2 project.
The low bid of $1,074,714 was accepted from Tom's Construction Inc., St. Henry.
