Northmoor Landing will focus on pontoon rentals and boat docks while still offering marine storage services and fuel sales.

CELINA - Bayview Sun & Snow Marina has rebranded its Kozy Marina offshoot as Northmoor Landing, with the aim of transforming the business into a boating hub and waterfront destination on the northern shores of Grand Lake.

Located at 8500 State Route 703, Celina, Kozy Marina has long been a purveyor of Crest Pontoon Boats, according to Bayview Sun & Snow Marina general manager Will Goodwin.

"We're streamlining the product offerings so everything's going to now be at Bayview - and that's why we're rebranding it to Northmoor Landing," Goodwin told The Daily Standard. "So instead of it being a sales marina, it's going to be more of a destination location for pontoon rentals and boat docks and eventually camping."

Goodwin said the site will continue to offer marine storage services and fuel sales while adhering to Bayview Sun & Snow Marina's well-established operational standards. Moreover, it remains an important access point to northern Grand Lake for boaters and other visitors.

"Our vision for Northmoor Landing is to provide a warm, welcoming and well-managed destination that supports lake recreation while streamlining our brand offerings for a more curated customer experience," Goodwin said. "This rebrand allows us to move forward with a clear identity while continuing to serve the Grand Lake community with the same commitment to quality and customer service."

The site is located in "a beautiful area for relocation, lots of nature and beautiful views right there," he said.

Goodwin also wants to heighten the site's focus on premium pontoon rentals.

"We currently rent Bennington pontoon boats there, which is the No. 1 brand in America. So they're high-end pontoon rentals, versus refurbished, or used ones, that a lot of other places are renting," he pointed out. "We have an online booking service through our website that we just implemented last year. So we're growing that aspect of the business at Northmoor Landing."

Boat dock rentals have been a mainstay of the business for many years, too.

"They've been full the last few years. We've been working on a waiting list for inquiries," Goodwin said, adding that the site has "over a hundred, maybe 200" boat slips.

At some point, Goodwin plans to augment on-site camping accommodations.

"Right now it's a very small offering that will be expanding over time, but it's not ready to be released or even inquired about yet, so something to come in the future," he said.

Kozy Marina, located at 8500 State Route 703, is being rebranded to Northmoor Landing.

Improvements and updates at Northmoor Landing will be implemented in phases, with additional details to be announced as development progresses, according to Goodwin. To stay abreast of developments, visit bayviewsunandsnow.com or Bayview's Facebook page.

"It's all live. The name change has happened. It's all live on our social media channels and our website, and new signage … is coming," he said. "So we're well on our way, more of a rebrand than a full-construction of the property. But things will change."

Bayview Sun & Snow Marina is a power sports and marine dealer, offering new and used pontoons and snowmobiles and boasting factory-trained technicians. The business is located at 5350 Bayview Road, Celina, and was founded by William "Buzz" A. Goodwin.

"Officially here at this location, we've been here since 1995, but my father started the recreation business in 1989," Goodwin said.

The late William "Bill" E. and Margaret Ann Miller Goodwin owned Kozy Marina for many years, according to Will Goodwin.

"William 'Buzz' A. Goodwin has overseen its operations for over 10 years and now as general manager I … am launching the rebrand as Northmoor Landing in 2026," Will Goodwin clarified.

The rebranding project has been in the works for some time.

"Having multiple properties and multiple locations, we've been trying to work on a way we could streamline the brand offerings and have a more curated experience for our customers," Will Goodwin said. "So we've decided this is the best way to do it, and actually, we recently sold Kozy Kampground."

Located at 5134 It's It Road in Celina, the campground was sold to RiverWest Partners, a Columbus-based team of real estate investors and developers that promises to carry on the campground's relaxed, friendly atmosphere while at once bringing new energy and improvements to the 54.8-acre lakeside site.

The announcement was made on Kozy Kampground's Facebook page in November.

"That's one of the reasons (why) we're walking away from the words 'Kozy Marina,' because we no longer own the campground, which my grandfather started," Will Goodwin said. "A rebrand is kind of a fresh new face on the property that we've had, but a different way of marketing it."
