Gregg Dicus
Gregg A. Dicus, 66, of Saint Marys, Ohio, died suddenly at 2:50 P.M. Saturday, February 21, 2026, in the emergency department of Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in Saint Marys.
He was born June 26, 1959, in Saint Marys, the son of Everett and Arlene (Wierwille) Dicus. He married Denise Pohlschneider on September 25, 1982, in Botkins, Ohio, and she survives at the residence.
He is also survived by his mother, Arlene Dicus of Saint Marys; by his children: Ashley (fiance Nate Schutz) Morales of Saint Marys; Nathan (Heather) Dicus of Saint Marys; Bryan Dicus of Shawnee. He is survived by his seven grandchildren: Camden, Skyler, Koal, Raine, Kyrsten, Nolan; Adelyn. He is survived by his siblings: LeeAnn (Jim) Jones of Buckland, Ohio; Scott (Lora) Dicus of Arlington, Pennsylvania; Mike (Julie) Dicus of Saint Marys; Jill (Dennis) Knous of Saint Marys.
He is survived by his mother-in-law, Virginia Valentine of Botkins; by Denise's siblings: Dale Pohlschneider of Sidney; Daryl (Janet) Pohlschneider of New Bremen; Darlene (Rick) Driskell of Sidney; David Pohlschneider of Botkins; by numerous nieces and nephews and by many close friends. He is survived by his brother-in-law,Terry Schoffner.
He was preceded in death by his father and by his sister, Michelle Schoffner.
Gregg was a 1977 graduate of Saint Marys Memorial High School. He was the retired manager of B & T Distributors in Lima. He was a master woodworker and spent many hours remodeling his home. He liked to say that he was a jack of all trades, but a master of none.
He loved spending time with his grandchildren, as they were the light of his life. He was an loving, amazing husband who brought Denise's visions to life.
Funeral rites will be held 3:00 P.M. Saturday, February 28, 2026, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys. His brother-in-law Dennis Knous will officiate the service.
Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. until the time of services on Saturday at the funeral home.
