The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued an Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio, from 7 AM Thursday to midnight EDT Thursday night.
Smoke from Canadian wildfires will adversely impact air quality. The Agency expects the Air Quality Index to be in the 'unhealthy for sensitive groups' range.

Ahrens to Trine

Versailles senior Drake Ahrens, seated center, will attend Trine University in Indiana and play for the NCAA Division III Thunder basketball team. Ahrens averaged 15.8 points, 5.5 rebounds and 7.4 assists per game as the Tigers finished 17-7 and won a Division V district title before losing in double-overtime to Waynesville in the regional semifinals at Fairborn High School. Ahrens was a first-team All-Midwest Athletic Conference selection and first team All-Ohio in Division V. Trine finished this past season 20-8 and 10-4 in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association.
