The Village of Minster celebrated improvements to Paris Street Park Wednesday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, highlighting new amenities designed to make the park more enjoyable for the community. Upgrades include a splash pad that opened last year, a shelter house with restroom facilities, handicapped-accessible playground equipment and a new parking lot. A group of Minster parents raised over $300,000 in donations to make the splash pad a reality. The village also received a $500,000 Land and Water Conservation grant from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources for the project.
