NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the County of Mercer will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. in the Mercer County Commissioners Office, Central Services Building, 220 West Livingston Street, Room A201, Celina, Ohio.
Based on both citizen input and local officials' assessment of the county's needs, the county is proposing to undertake the following Revolving Loan Fund activity:
The county intends to loan the amount of $125,000 to Fort Equipment LLC for the purchase of equipment located at 3138 Wabash Road, Fort Recovery. Fort Equipment LLC will create 4 FTE jobs, of which 3 will be offered to or made available to LMI persons; which meets the National Objective.
The total project cost will be $686,100 with funds coming from Revolving Loan Fund of $125,000; Equity $31,805 and Private Lenders $529,295.
This second public hearing is being held to give citizens an adequate opportunity to review and comment on the county's proposed applications, before the loans are approved.

Notice is hereby given that an application for variance has been submitted by Anthony and Tonya Huber, to the Village of Coldwater Board of Appeals for the property located at 619 Ray Drive, Coldwater Ohio.

The Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Oil and Gas Resources Management (Division) has hired Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) to evaluate properties in Auglaize, Mercer, and Van Wert Counties to identify the presence of orphan oil and gas wells. On behalf of the Division, CEC plans to conduct an Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) based aerial magnetic survey to identify general location of orphan gas wells on authorized properties. After a pause in drone flights, CEC will be initiating drone flight in this area in the near future. As a result, landowners may see CEC equipment vehicles and drones flying authorized properties. In the case where CEC already performed an aerial magnetic survey of your parcel(s), we do not need to fly your property again but wanted to make you aware we would again be flying in your area.

LEGAL NOTICE
The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio has scheduled local public hearings in Case Nos. 24-1009-EL-AIR, 24-1010-EL-AAM, 24-1011-EL-ATA, In the Matter of the Application of the Dayton Power and Light Company d/b/a AES Ohio for an Increase in Electric Distribution Rates, for Accounting Authority, and for Approval of Revised Tariffs. In its applications, the company requests a rate increase of $235,247,400, or an average increase of 75.43 percent over current revenues. After its review of the application and records, the staff of the Commission recommends a revenue increase in the range of $155,624,769 and $164,161,027, or an increase in total distribution revenue of 49.38 percent to 52.09 percent over current revenue. The local public hearings are scheduled for the purpose of providing an opportunity for interested members of the public to testify in these proceedings.
