For review is a request by Zachary Vogel of 825 Wilkens Street. He is requesting a variance to demolish two existing buildings and build a new one that would be over the allowable square footage for R-2 zoning.

The St. Henry Village Council has passed the following:

Ordinance 1184 - accepting the lowest and best bid for street reconstruction; authorizing the Village Administrator of the Village of St. Henry, Ohio, to enter into and execute a contract for services with Tom's Construction, Inc. and make any disbursements necessary.

Ordinance 1185- granting Midwest Electric, Inc., it's successors and assigns, the right to acquire, construct, maintain and operate in the streets, thoroughfares, alley's, bridges and public places of the annexed area in the Village of St. Henry, Ohio and its successors, lines for the distribution of electric energy to the annexed area of the Village of St. Henry, Ohio and the inhabitants thereof for light, heat, power and other purposes and for the transmission of the same within, through or across said annexed area.

Resolution 2026-4 - making findings and determinations as permitted in Section 3735.65 to 3735.70 O.R.C.; establishing "Community Reinvestment Area #53", Hemmelgarn Enterprises DBA Hi-Tech Wire, designating an officer to administer said tax abatement program.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS

The Village of Rockford, will receive sealed bids for the construction of the Shanes Crossing Subdivision Phase Three project located within the Village of Rockford, Ohio.

Bids will be received at the Village of Rockford, 151 E. Columbia Street, Rockford, OH 45882, until 11:00 a.m., November 12, 2026, at which time and place bids will be opened publicly and read aloud. Bids received after 11:00 a.m. will be returned unopened.

Bids will be received on a unit price basis as outlined in the bid documents: 

The project includes the extension of various streets and utilities for the next phase of a residential subdivision located on village owned property.

Bids must be signed and submitted on the separate bidding forms included in the Bidding Documents, sealed in the provided envelope, and shall be accompanied by either a Bid Guaranty Bond in the amount of 100% of the Bid amount or by a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit on a solvent bank in the amount of not less than 10% of the amount of the Bid, subject to conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Bid security, furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety.
