There were some obstacles along the way, but the the Grand Lake Mariners went on the road in Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League action on Thursday night and faced the Lake Erie Monarchs at Ned Skeldon Stadium.
Despite the bus breaking down on the road trip along with a two-hour delay in the start of the game, Grand Lake entered enemy territory and came away with a 6-4 win over Lake Erie. [More]
