* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...St. Marys River at Rockford.
* WHEN...From this afternoon to Sunday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:40 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 12.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this afternoon to a crest of 13.2 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Andrew Westgerdes
Andrew A. "Jack" Westgerdes, 80, 1806 Union City Road, Fort Recovery, died at 6:40 a.m. July 29, 2006, at Briarwood Manor Nursing Home, Coldwater.
He was born Aug. 30, 1925, in St. Joe, to Joseph and Mary Steinbrunner Westgerdes. On June 10, 1950, he married Ruth Hemmelgarn, who survives.
Also surviving are five sons, Mark (Linda), Sidney, Fred (Cindy), Vandalia, Ralph (Karen), St. Henry, Gregor (Beverly), Portland, Ind., and David (Susan), Coldwater; a daughter, Diane (Brian) Hinders, Bellbrook; four sisters, Julianna Wellman, St. Henry, Dorothy (Donald) Muhlenkamp, Fort Recovery, Rosella (Robert) Muhlenkamp, Portland, Ind., and Naomi Maynard, Oxford, Mass.; two brothers, Clarence, St. Henry, and Arnold (Viola), Fort Recovery; a sister-in-law, Mildred, Versailles, 22 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Deceased are three brothers, Norbert, Wilbert and infant Rolandis; three sisters, Irene Kahlig and infant twins, Mary Agnes and Mary Alice.
He was employed by Westgerdes Cabinets, the former St. Clair Mills, Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church and Fort Recovery Industries, all of Fort Recovery, and the former Honeybee Mills, Salamonia, Ind. He was also a retired farmer. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, in the Pacific Theater.
He was a member of American Legion Post 345, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6515 and Knights of Columbus Council 3324, all of Fort Recovery, and a fourth-degree member of the St. Gasper del Bufalo Assembly, Minster.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery, of which he was a member, the Rev. Thomas Dorn officiating.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Brockman & Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery. A Knights of Columbus prayer service is 7:50 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
