Dean Cook
Dean E. Cook, 73, 806 Laurel Drive, St. Marys, died 5:35 p.m. Aug. 4, 2006, at Joint township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys. He formerly lived in Houston, Texas.
He was born June 17, 1933, in New Madison to Harold and Jean (Ferguson) Cook. On Jan. 22, 1977, he was married to Phyllis Deuel, who survives.
Also surviving is one son, John (Sisca), Houston, Texas; two step-sons, Mark (Della) Goldsmith, Camden, and Dick (Melanie) Goldsmith, Zanesfield; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and one brother, Neil (Joyce) Cook, St. Marys.
He was preceded in death by one son, Michael Cook, and two brothers, David and Ronald Cook.
He was retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber co., Houston, Texas, and had served with the company in Ireland and Thailand. He was a member of Clear Lake United Methodist Church in Houston.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Sunday, 6-8 p.m.
Memorial donations may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
