Scattered snow showers will become more widespread through this afternoon and then likely linger into this evening before tapering off.
The snow showers will be capable of causing brief periods of reduced visibilities, especially this afternoon. In addition, brisk conditions will prevail with west winds gusting in the 30 to 40 mph range today.
Light snow accumulations will be possible, mainly on grassy and elevated surfaces. While roads will remain mostly wet during the daytime hours, some slick spots may develop toward sunset as temperatures begin to drop below freezing.
Please be prepared for the changing weather conditions today and the potential for reduced visibilities when driving.

Auglaize County court opens

The first traffic and criminal arraignments were held Wednesday at the new St. Marys facility for the Auglaize County Municipal Court West. At left, Auglaize County Clerk of Courts Sue Ellen Kohler requests all rise for Judge Gary Herman's entrance. Present were deputy clerks, law enforcement officers, people paying tickets and awaiting arraignments. The court will be open 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The facility will close from noon to 1 p.m. daily.
